Downtown Staunton Egg Hunt
The Downtown Staunton Egg Hunt begins Friday, March 26th at 5pm and ends Sunday April 4th at 5pm. Eggs will be hidden in different participating businesses storefronts throughout downtown. These eggs will be visible at all times from the outside of the business, so it is easy to social distance! Open Jam and Tailgate
Join Busk Staunton for Open Jam and Tailgate at Williamsburg Square Shopping Center on Saturday March 27th from 2pm to 5pm in the parking lot of Fretwell Bass. Enjoy a safe and fun afternoon full of music. All attendees must follow COVID-19 guidelines and practice social distancing. Don’t forget to bring a chair! If you play an instrument, feel free to bring it along too! This event is free and for all ages. 5k Colorful Run or Walk
Ride With Pride’s 7th Annual 5k Colorful Run or Walk is Saturday, April 17th from 8am to 5pm. There will be a scenic 5k course and a 1 mile loop for families. Runners and walkers will be blasted with color throughout the course. To add an extra magical touch, Disney and Marvel characters will be there from A Moment of Magic. All proceeds will benefit the Ride With Pride Therapeutic Horsemanship Organization. Staunton’s 2021 Historic Garden Week Tour
Staunton’s 2021 Historic Garden Week Tour is Saturday April 17th from 10am to 5pm. This walking tour features exterior spaces with spectacular outdoor gardens created by talented members of the Augusta Garden Club. Special notes include the newly refurbished structures and signage at Gypsy Hill Park. Never Grow Up, Adult Easter Egg Hunt
Join Bold Rock Hard Cider for Never Grow Up, Adult Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday April 3rd from 11am to 6pm at their Nellysford location.There will be an adult Easter egg hunt as well as a children’s Easter egg hunt. The adult Easter egg is 21+ and the children’s Easter egg hunt is ages 10 and below. The kids hunt will begin at 11am, and then there will be two adult rounds of hunting. The first round will begin at 1pm and the second round will begin at 4pm. Each group will be given an hour to find as many eggs as they can. There will be over 2,000 eggs for each adult hunt and 1.000 eggs for the children’s hunt! In addition to the egg hunt, there will be live music from 12pm to 6pm and two food trucks! Tickets range from $6 to $10, space is limited. Josh Davidson live at Skipping Rock
Josh Davidson will be live at Skipping Rock Saturday, March 27th from 7pm to 10pm. Josh Davidson is a local artist from the Blue Ridge Mountains, who takes inspiration from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tyler Childers, and Chris Stapleton. Josh Davidson plays a wide variety of genres including country, southern rock, and blues. He will be playing both cover songs and originals. Bin Grateful: Outdoor Book Sale
Bin Grateful: Outdoor Book Sale is Saturday, March 20th from 9am to 3pm at Stone Soup Books by the South River. Books from the cart will be $1 for paperback and $2 for hard back. Blood Drive In Honor Of Sandy Trujillo
Sandy’s life can best be described as one of service and celebration. The majority of her 64 years were spent in the service and care of others as a nurse; she continued to care for others even as she herself was battling disease. Her personal life was also spent in service of others as Sandy was a constant presence and reliable support to any member of her large network for friends and family facing a challenging time. Beginners Wild Caving Day
Staunton Recreation Park is hosting a Beginners Wild Caving Day, Sunday, March 28th from 1pm to 5pm. This half-day adventure will begin near Franklin WV. Learn about basic wild caving safety, underground navigation, and some elementary limestone geology. A list of what to bring will be provided.
