Staunton Innovation Hub Happy Hour
This event is open to all Staunton Innovation Hub members and anyone else who might want to meet some of the amazing community members within the Hub. This month’s sponsor is Spirit Homes. They are kicking off SPIRIT WEEK, where they donate $10,000 and a team of volunteers to help a needy family make necessary repairs to their homes.

The Hot Mamas will play their eclectic mix of original songs and fun, quirky covers. With instruments including clarinet, toy piano, ukulele, banjo, washboard, bodhrán, dueling kazoos and lush harmonies The Hot Mamas always put on an entertaining show.
30th Anniversary screening of “Groundhog Day”
Presented by Turner Classic Movies Snowed in during a trip to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities, television weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray) finds himself stuck in time, endlessly repeating February 2nd.
12 Angry Jurors
Silver Line Theater Exchange is presenting “12 Angry Jurors” February 3rd-5th. This is their first ever all-valley high school show, combining talents from public, private, and home school students in the Shenandoah Valley. This performance opportunity aims to give kids an alternative to the musical theatre productions that most high schools focus on in the winter months, and to expand the theatre kid network. We Have Always Lived in the Castle
On Sunday January 29th. Staunton Downtown Development Association will host the first play reading of the 2023 Season. “We Have Always Lived in the Castle” is a play by Hugh Wheeler, adapted from the novel by Shirley Jackson. The play is a gothic horror piece revolving around a perverse, isolated, and possibly murderous family and their alienation from a hateful, suspicious New England village. There are seven roles available for reading, giving participants an opportunity to read as well. This event will be held at 1 East Beverly Street, Second floor, in Staunton, Va. Euphorigen Investigation Escape Room
Saturday January 28th at 1pm the Staunton Public Library is hosting an escape room entitled the Euphorigen Investigation. Participants can work as a team to decode and uncover clues. Registration is required for adults and young adults 14and older. You can call 540-332-3902 for more information.
