Spring Arts & Crafts Show

On Saturday March 4th, beginning at 9am. Augusta Expo is hosting their Spring Arts & Crafts Show. Participants will be able to shop the best local artists, artisans and hand crafted designs all under one roof. There will be food, shopping, and free parking. If you love breakout rooms and board games The Waynesboro Public Library may have an event for you. On Saturday, March 4th attendees can play a live-action game of Clue in the library after hours from 5PM TO 7PM. You can bring family and friends to help solve the mystery and find out who committed the crime and how they did it! Ten groups of 5 are allowed. To register you can visit the link below.

The Hot Mamas are excited to encourage new and undiscovered songwriters to share their gift and grow their experience. All selected participants will compete on April 15 at Pale Fire Brewing. The contest winner will get to perform their song live on the Court Square Theatre Stage at The Hot Mamas’ Album Release Show on May 20!

The Winter Wine Festival at Hotel 24 South

Hotel 24 South is hosting The Winter Wine Festival from noon until 5pm. The event features a select group of wine and cider producers from both sides of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the comfort of the historic Hotel 24 South. All ticket purchases include tastings, a souvenir glass, and a snack bag. Additional food will be available for purchase. Tickets are $40 in advance; $45 at the door. Designated drivers and non-drinkers are welcome and are not required to purchase a ticket. Proceeds from this event help Historic Staunton Foundation fulfill its mission of providing leadership, education, and advocacy to help preserve our historic community.

The Wayne Theater is presenting The Importance of Being Earnest live on stage with a ’90s Boy Band Twist. The Importance of Being Earnest is the most renowned of Oscar Wilde’s comedies. The elaborate plot ridicules Victorian sensibilities with some of the best loved, and indeed bizarre, characters to be found on the modern stage. The shows are happening February 17th -19th and February 24th-26th. Tickets are $15-$25.

For the entire month of February, The Valley Children’s Advocacy Center is hosting their annual “Fill Our Center With Love” event. Community members have the opportunity to send an encouraging message through social media or mail valentine’s cards made with your kids in order to send support and positivity to the victims and the families the Valley CAC serves. You can mail your cards to 1105 Greenville Ave, Staunton, VA or you can follow the Valley Children’s Advocacy Center on Facebook and Instagram.
