Staunton Jams
Staunton Jams features local bands and special performances. It is going down October 13 & 14 at multiple locations throughout Downtown Staunton. The festival is designed to be an enjoyable experience for people of all ages. Laughing Picture art exhibition
The Staunton Augusta Art Center is hosting their newest exhibition “Laughing Picture” featuring the art of Andrew Davis. The exhibition is running from now until October 28th. Andrew Davis is a Staunton native that uses the mechanisms of surrealism and psychedelia to create a dreamlike world where images from modern pop culture intermingle with references to Renaissance masters. This is FREE and open to the public.
Shenandoah Green’s EcoChat: Composting
Eric Walter, owner of Black Bear Composting, will be the featured speaker at Shenandoah Green’s next EcoChat. Learn what can and cannot be transformed into nutrient-rich soil through aerobic composting. Can animal bones be composted? What is the difference between industrial composting and backyard composting? How can composting food and yard waste clean the atmosphere?
