Staunton Christmas Parade
Monday, November 27th at 7PM Staunton Downtown development Association is hosting the Staunton Christmas Parade in downtown Staunton sponsored by Columbia Gas of Virginia. The theme of the parade this year is “A Cozy Christmas”. This parade is free and open to the public. For more information you can email info@stauntondowntown.org.
Celebration of Lights

It’s a Wonderful Life: Live Radio Play
The beloved American holiday classic retold as a live, captivating 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to life on the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life that one fateful Christmas Eve. Silver Line Theatre Exchange proudly presents It’s a Wonderful Life by Joe Landry, produced in special arrangement with Playscripts. Part of our Professional Performance Series, this production features talent from local and regional professional actors. It’s a Wonderful Life is a family-friendly show, though it does explore themes of suicide. The run time is approximately 90 minutes, plus a 15 minute intermission.
Art for Gifts Holiday Market
The Staunton Augusta Art Center announces the return of the Art for Gifts Holiday Market, the artful and thoughtful unique boutique in the galleries featuring the art and craft work of over fifty local and regional artists and artisans. Community Drum Circle
Sunday, November 12 from 2-3PM there will be a community drum circle at Montgomery Hall Park. This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair and an instrument of their choosing and as a group will allow the collective energies to move the sound where it would like to go. Eurydice
Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl will be staged Tuesday, November 14 through Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Asbury United Methodist Church, Slaven Hall, 205 S. Main St., Harrisonburg. Performances will begin at 8:00 PM each evening. A contemporary stage adaptation of the classic Greek myth, Eurydice is directed by Michael Trocchia and is the culminating event in this fall’s Be)Holding Love & Loss: An Interdisciplinary Arts and Humanities Series on Grief.
