Joan of Arc Blues – Live Music Jam

The Central Virginia Blues Society will return to live music in 2021 this Sunday on the lawn at Barren Ridge Winery. The outstanding and talented membership of CVBS will present four hours of blues, jazz, r&b, and blues-influenced music for everyone to enjoy.

The host band, saxophonist supreme Alan Ponton and Friends, will kick this inaugural event with a mix of jazz and blues, and features Randy Johnson on guitar. Sets throughout the afternoon will feature a variety of CVBS musicians, and as is the standing policy for our jams, non-member musicians are invited to come out and join the society, and join the Jam! And if you get hungry and thirsty during the show, you can enjoy Barren Ridge’s award-winning wines and food from Lovin’ Crab Food Truck featuring some of the best crab cakes in the Shenandoah Valley.
