2024 Staunton Outside Arts Opening

Between October 1-31, Staunton Outside Arts (SOA) is proud to present its fourth annual pop-up art exhibition, transforming the city into a vibrant canvas. Over the course of the month, artists from diverse disciplines—including multimedia, photography, sculpture, performance, and music—will showcase their work in unconventional settings. From private yards to underutilized public spaces, the exhibition will breathe new life into Staunton’s landscape.

We will kick off the exhibition with an opening on Sunday, October 6 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Ciders From Mars at 121 S Lewis Street and SolArt Center at 6 Byers Street.

Staunton Outside Arts (SOA) is an initiative bringing creative projects to neighborhoods and open spaces around the greater Staunton area. SOA hosts a yearly festival where artists, curators and local residents work together to create art installations that engage the public in dialogue with daily life and our regional history, culture, ecology and topography.
