Open House

The Sponsored Residential Program at Valley Community Services Board is having an Open House on Tuesday, February 11 from 3 – 6 p.m. at the VCSB office, 85 Sangers Lane. Learn about this rewarding way to open your home, your heart and your family to an individual with developmental disabilities. VCSB provides all the training and once you have a placement in your home, we provide 24 hour a day, on call support services. This is a great opportunity to meet some of our current sponsors and individuals, and the Sponsored Residential team. If you have questions or for more information, call 540-213-7398.

The Sponsor provides a safe, family style home environment to the Individual while providing daily assistance based on their individual plan for supports. This includes personal care, community participation, social skills, budgeting, maintain health and safety standards and other pertinent supports necessary to foster independence and the highest quality of life possible. VCSB staff support Sponsor families throughout the individual’s stay.
