“A Christmas Carol” at the American Shakespeare Center

Now through December 30th, the American Shakespeare Center is presenting “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens adapted for the stage by James McClure and directed by Stephanie Holladay Earl. The story transports miserly Ebenezer Scrooge high above the streets of Victorian London, where Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future haunt his dreams to accomplish—in one fateful night—what a lifetime of grasping and greed could not do: the warming of his cold, cold heart.
