First Fridays on Saturday — Opening Reception For Christine Anderson

Please join us in celebrating the opening of Christine’s solo show “Captured Curves of Light and Dark” on Saturday, August 3rd at 5pm. Her work will be on display at Art Hive until the 30th of August.

“Through art, I am able to unveil emotions that I attempt to make evident on canvas. Although mixed media is my primary source of expression, I have come to realize that focusing on one style can sometimes constrain the artistic tools needed to create compositions that capture my emotions and the spiritual evolution of my art.” -Christine Anderson

Christine Anderson has been in love with art since the second grade. Christine studied Studio Art, concentrating in Graphic Design, with minors in Art History and Psychology at Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC. Besides being a mother and deep spiritual thinker, she is an artist in residence at Allen Chapel A.M.E Church in Staunton, Virginia. Christine currently resides in Staunton with her son Gabriel.
