The Wheels for Wilson Bike-A-Thon

Saturday, August 19th beginning at 7:30am The Wheels for Wilson Bike-A-Thon will be held at Gypsy Hill Park Bandstand. Families, kids of all ages and bicycle enthusiasts are welcome to support the Rita S. Wilson Memorial Scholarship that supports first generation college students pursuing their degree in education. In addition to supporting high school seniors as they transition to college, the scholarship is made available to adults in the workforce who, like Rita, choose to pursue higher levels of education. Pre-registration is available online for only $10 or Onsite-registration at 7am for $12. Awards will be given to those participants who receive the most scholarship pledges and for most loops cycled. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win one month of coworking from Staunton Innovation Hub.
